Melrose Public Works is a fast-paced, service-driven department with ever-changing priorities and demands. We seek a seasoned Working Foreman in the Water Division to join us who is proactive, knowledgeable, and energetic. You pride yourself on being punctual, hardworking, and a team player. The Working Foreman, under the Operations Manager, works on the construction, maintenance, repair, and operation of water, sewer, and drainage systems and appurtenances.
The qualified candidate possesses a current, valid, and unrestricted Mass. Commercial Driver’s License, a Hoisting Operators License, and a valid Distribution Level 2 License from the Massachusetts Board of Drinking Water Certification. The starting salary wage is $28.56 per hour, commensurate with experience, and is a full-time, 40-hour position.
