The North Sagamore Water District is seeking applicants for our Water Superintendent. Position requires performing a variety of supervisory, administrative, skilled, technical and maintenance work in the planning, construction, operation, repair, maintenance and replacement of distribution piping, storage, pumping and treatment facilities and systems. Position requires the ability to respond to after-hours emergencies and being part of a weekly on-call rotation. Candidates must reside within a thirty mile driving distance of the district office.
All candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Applicants must possess Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Division of Water Supply Grades D2 and T2 licenses and have the ability to acquire other required certifications within a set amount of time. Candidates must submit to a pre-employment CORI check. The position has a starting salary of $102,000 per year plus stipends and benefits. Training and licensing requirements for the position are funded by the district.
