The town of Lincoln is seeking a full-time Water Superintendent to plan, direct, implement, supervise and coordinate the daily operations of a small (six person) Water Department and ensure compliance with all municipal, state, and federal guidelines. This position will work with a supportive team of Water Commissioners and Town officials to manage recent significant investments in treatment plant updates, capital equipment and staff compensation.
Applicants should have a minimum of seven years of progressive responsibility in water works experience, a minimum of two years in a supervisory position with public contact and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is also required. The position requires current Massachusetts Water System Class 3 Treatment and Class 3 Distribution licenses.
