The town of Shrewsbury, a full-service local government driven by high performance and creativity, seeks dependable team players to join the Water and Sewer Division of the department of Public Works! These opportunities have become available due to recent promotions. The town will assist the successful candidate in obtaining the licensure required of the Water Technician position.
The Water and Sewer division is a municipally owned utility for the residents of Shrewsbury. Our water supply is derived from a series of gravel-packed wells pumping over four million gallons of water a day. The successful candidates will perform routine but responsible manual work in the construction, maintenance and repair of facilities for water supply and distribution systems and sewage collection systems.
