Charlton is seeking a full-time Water/Sewer Foreman to join our team. Working under the general supervision of the Water/Sewer Commission, the Water/Sewer Foreman is responsible for providing a potable and reliable water supply for residential and commercial uses as well as fire protection, and for providing for the healthful transport of wastewater to the wastewater treatment plant for treatment and discharge.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in civil engineering or related field, additional technical training, and five to seven years of increasingly responsible experience in public works water/sewer utility systems maintenance; bachelor’s degree preferred or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Garde 5C or higher MA wastewater operator license and Grade 2d or higher drinking water license are desirable but not required.
