The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position of Water Meter/Billing Administrator in the Water Utility Department. The position reports directly to the Distribution Superintendent and Billing Manager and is responsible for the administration of water services on customer accounts including, but not limited to, researching accounts to ensure accuracy, generation of final water bills, quarterly bill runs, providing reports for management, preparing commitments for City Auditor, mediating customer billing disputes, and providing customer service by phone, email and in person. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, experience with Munis software is strongly preferred, and a minimum of two years’, full-time or equivalent part-time, billing experience preferred in a busy office environment. Experience in customer service and/or billing administration is a plus. Knowledge of mathematics and the ability to compute water consumption. Salary range: $22.5940 (min) to $25.4838 (max) per hour; 40hrs/week.
