Under the administrative direction of the Town Administrator and the policy direction of the Wastewater Commissioners and Board of Selectmen, this position is responsible for the efficient operation, daily administrative and financial management of the Wastewater plant.

Position acts as Chief Operator, requiring expertise of the mechanical and electrical systems used in plant operations.

The successful candidate will be a ‘hands-on’ team leader who works beside plant staff in repairing and troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing training programs for staff to gain and maintain wastewater licenses, and ensuring state safety protocols are met.

As a Department Head, this position is responsible for long-range planning and project management, preparing and administrating the annual budget, providing accurate and comprehensive reports, and skilled communicator.

Minimum qualification but not limited to: Five to seven years’ experience in a wastewater treatment facility with at least three years in a supervisory capacity. Valid MA Driver’s license, MA Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator’s License, Grade VI, or higher.

This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits package. Salary range $91,000 – $107,093
