Veterans Service Officer

Full-time, Occasional nights and weekends.

The town of Natick is seeking a highly motivated and qualified United States Veteran to fill the role of Veterans Service Officer. This position reports to the Community Services Director. The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment and dedication to serving the local veteran community, ensuring they receive the full range of benefits and support they have earned.

This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent administrative capabilities, particularly in managing casework, maintaining detailed records, and adhering to strict state and federal guidelines. Strong computer proficiency is essential, including expertise with standard office software and specialized veteran-related databases.

The Veterans Service Officer is responsible for the successful organization of key community observances including the Annual Memorial Day Parade and the Veterans Day Parade,

The employee is responsible for the supervision of one full-time executive assistant.

Compensation and Benefits:

The town of Natick offers a competitive salary and a generous benefits package. This position is classified as Grade 3 on the Town’s non-union personnel pay plan, with an anticipated hiring range of $66,000 – $80,000 commensurate with education and experience.

This position shall remain open until filled. Anticipated start date is mid March of 2026.
