The city of Somerville is in search of a Veterans’ Benefits Coordinator. The Benefits Coordinator serves as primary contact for the department with internal and outside stakeholders. The Benefits Coordinator will ensure compliance with applicable federal and state government regulations; ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees; coordinate daily benefits processing; handle enrollments, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, distributions, loans, hardships, and compliance testing; and oversee maintenance of clients’ benefits files, maintain benefits database, and update client’s payroll records.

Hours: Full-Time

Salary: $64,945.93 annualized plus benefits
