The town of Danvers welcomes applicants for position of Utility Accountant – DPW Business Office. This position provides accounting support for the DPW, including financial statement & report preparation, maintenance of general ledger in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, and other financial responsibilities.

  • Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred, three to five years’ related utility accounting, bookkeeping, customer service, and/or office/clerical experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills, including financial accounting software and Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with full accrual accounting required.
