The purpose of this position is to assist the Director of Transportation Operations in all aspects of their duties in the city of Newton Department of Public Works, Transportation Division; will work on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized and customer-oriented manner and will refer to the Director for supervisory issues and approval of transportation engineering projects and plans; will represent the division at meetings with city officials and the public as required; and all other related work as required and directed. This is a full-time, exempt position, hiring salary range: $77,048 – $82,953 annually plus yearly step increases, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to be a part of our team of dedicated public servants.
