The town of Somerset is accepting applications for the position of Veterans Service Officer. Candidates for this position must possess a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent master craftsman level of trade services and a minimum of seven to 10 years of related experience, preferably in social services. Successful candidates must be an honorably discharged veteran in accordance with Massachusetts state law and must complete, within six months of appointment and maintain during course of employment, a Department of Veterans’ Service Certification. Must have a valid Class D Motor Vehicle Driver’s License. The town of Somerset offers a comprehensive benefits package.
