Administrative Assistant – Zoning Board of Appeals and Historic District / Historical Commissions

The town of Lincoln is seeking a qualified applicant for a 20 hr/week Administrative Assistant position supporting the Zoning Board of Appeals, Historic District Commission, and Historical Commission. This position is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties, including processing applications, preparing meeting agendas and packets, coordinating legal notices and abutters’ mailings, attending meetings and taking minutes, maintaining files and databases, responding to public inquiries, and assisting with related office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills, along with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines independently. Proficiency with standard office software is required, and municipal experience is preferred. Evening meeting attendance is required.

Qualified candidates should have one to three years of progressively responsible administrative or office management experience, preferably in municipal government.

Hourly rate starts between $27.58 – $31.97/hr. with full benefits.
