Veterans Services Officer – Part-Time
The town of Lancaster seeks a part-time (12 hours/week) Veterans Services Officer (VSO) with starting pay within the town of Lancaster Fiscal Year 2026 Grade 6 pay range (between $19.46/hour to $25.40/hour), with an expected starting hourly rate range of $19.46 – $21.91 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Among other duties, the Veterans Resource Officer provides advising services to veterans and their dependents; refers veterans to appropriate agencies or service providers; assists veterans by providing informational material and advice concerning assistance and benefit opportunities; assists veterans in completing necessary applications and other forms including Chapter 115 benefits; and in acquiring documentation needed to prove eligibility.
