The Town Clerk’s office is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Town Clerk.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday – Thursday, (32 hours per week) plus benefits.
Applications should send a cover letter, application and resume to the Town Clerk’s Office, 499 Plymouth St., Halifax, MA 02338 no later than Dec. 12.
Responsibilities include a wide range of administrative tasks such as recording and processing vital statistics, voter registration, issuing licenses and permits, typing, filing, and assisting with the coordination of town, state and federal election proceedings. Prior municipal experience is a plus.
