The Town of St. George, Maine is currently accepting resumes for the position of Town Manager. Located in mid-coast Maine with 125 miles of shoreline, St. George has a Selectmen/Town Meeting/Town Manager form of government, a year-round population of 2580 with a seasonal increase to 5,000 and a municipal budget of $3.4 million.
The Select Board is seeking a candidate who has strong leadership, managerial and collaborative ability with education and/or training in municipal management or a related field. Candidates with comparable experience are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be an experienced budgeting and financial manager, personnel manager and project manager. They will have excellent communication skills and a customer service orientation.
