The successful candidate is required to have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, with the major field of study in public administration or government, and a minimum of five years’ experience in public administration. A master’s degree in public administration is highly desirable. Candidates should have the proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships, possess knowledge of public personnel and finance methods and procedures and to write technical reports and express ideas effectively in written and oral form.
