The town of Ipswich seeks an experienced and certified municipal Clerk. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of all facets of position including, but not limited to: records management; licensing; overseeing federal, state and local elections; census and voter registration administration; organizing town meetings and a thorough knowledge of pertinent Massachusetts General Laws and local bylaws. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communications, organization and management skills. Computer proficiency and bachelor’s degree plus five years experience preferred, including two to three years supervisory experience. The Clerk is appointed by the Town Manager.
