The town of South Hadley is seeking a Town Clerk. The Town Clerk performs highly responsible administrative and supervisory work in the administration of federal, state and local statutes,  the maintenance of official municipal records, the issuing of various licenses and documents, conducting Annual Town Census, recording and maintaining Town Meeting records, and the administration of fair and accurate elections; maintains the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas under his/her control. Performs all other related work as required.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in business or related field; five years’ experience in town government and records management or an equivalent and relevant combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. Must be a candidate for Notary Public and Justice of the Peace. Massachusetts Town Clerk Certification preferred. This is a full-time, 40 hour a week, benefited position with a starting salary range of $70,000 –$80,000 DOE/DOQ. This Position will remain open until filled.
