Provides technical/professional planning services to the Planning Board and public. Reviews permits, applications for subdivision and site plans, makes decisions based on technical judgment of federal, state and local laws and regulations. Performs site inspections for approved plan compliance for non-residential developments prior to financial releases.

Must be able to keep accurate records; effectively communicate verbally/written form; establish/maintain effective working relationships; be able to multi-task/prioritize work with multiple deadlines.

Salary: $61,390.09 – $74,599.96/annually. Bachelor’s degree in city, town or regional planning, with at least four years, of progressively responsible experience with work experience emphasizing planning and land use law. AICP certification required.
