Town Administrator

Groveland, Mass. (7,000 pop.), a small residential community which retains all of the characteristics of a friendly rural town while set in a convenient suburb, seeks an experienced and proactive Town Administrator with strong financial acumen, personnel management experience, and communication skills who is interested in a lengthy tenure.  Candidates should be active listeners with superior people skills and experience in procurement as well as grant acquisition and administrations. Candidates should advocate a customer-service approach and be team-oriented. Groveland is located north of Boston and the southern border of New Hampshire. Groveland has a five-member Board of Selectmen, open Town Meeting and an FY22 budget of approximately $22M.  Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred), preferably in public administration or related field.  The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package, including health and retirement plans.  Annual salary is $90K – $120K DOQ.  EOE
