The town of Barre (population: 5365; budget: $12 million) is seeking qualified applicants for Town Administrator to serve as chief administrative officer of the town.
The Town Administrator plays a crucial role in the town’s overall planning, management, organization, stability, and growth. The position works under the three-member Board of Selectmen.

BA in public or business administration; a minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative and/or management position with some supervisory experience preferably in a municipal setting; or master’s degree in public or business administration with at least two years’ experience in local government; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
