Rochester, MA (5,717 pop.), is seeking a collaborative municipal leader with excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong, motivated teams, and a desire to engage with the community, to serve as its next Town Administrator. Rochester is a peaceful, small community in southeastern Massachusetts. Its local government is led by a three-member Select Board with an Open Town Meeting form of government, an FY22 budget of approximately $22.88 million, and an AA+ rating. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in public administration or a related field. Applicants with experience in collective bargaining, human resource management, financial management, purchasing, and conflict management and resolution are preferred. Candidates should have strong communication skills, a collaborative management style, and an understanding of regional services delivery. Candidates should be team oriented, organized, and approachable.
