The town of Dartmouth has an immediate opening for a part-time, temporary Principal Office Assistant II in the Town Administrator/Select Board Office. Position is responsible for administrative and clerical work in supporting the operations of the Town Administrator/Select Board office. As first point of contact, provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers; responds to time sensitive requests for assistance providing information regarding town rules, policies and regulations in response to inquiries and complaints; resolves citizen’s concerns and complaints; prepares a variety of documents using MS Office; maintains information, records and files in paper and electronic form, requiring careful recording, classification and compilation of information and other related duties.

Four years’ professional clerical, customer service and office administration experience. Thorough knowledge of customer service, paper and electronic filing systems, and use of office MS software.

This position is a long term temporary position (three or more months) and will be scheduled for approximately 19-25 hours per week. Great opportunity for those candidates looking for a flexible schedule. The pay rate for this position is $20.71 – $27.13/hour.
