The town of Lincoln – an organization that believes that workforce diversity strengthens performance, integrity, trust, and partnerships with our staff, boards, committees, community, and guests – is seeking a temporary, full-time Crew Member for its Highway Department.

This temporary, full-time (40 hours/week), fully benefitted, non-union position shall terminate on April 30, 2025, unless the town determines a need to extend the contract or promote to a permanent position.

This position is responsible for: maintaining, repairing and improving the town’s roadways and roadsides, snow plowing and clearing, operating the town’s solid waste disposal and recycling programs, assisting with interments, and general care and maintenance of town cemeteries. May be required to participate in on-call requirements and will be required to be available for weather-related events. A valid driver’s license is required and a CDL Class B license is preferred. Duties require knowledge equivalent to graduation from high school and one to three years of related maintenance and equipment operation experience.
