The town of Hingham seeks a FT Tax Receipt Clerk to work under the general direction of the Treasurer/Collector or Assistant Treasurer/Collector, performing accounting, record keeping, and customer services for the Treasurer/Collector’s Department. Work includes accepting, verifying, recording, and turning over payments; reconciling cash draw; making deposits; maintaining records and files; receiving email inquiries, telephone calls, and visitors; providing clerical assistance to the Treasurer/Collector; and assisting in the daily activities of the Treasurer/Collector’s Department.
