The city of Lowell is seeking candidates for the position of Staff Engineer in the Water Utility Department. The position reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible to provide technical support and project management assistance to the Executive Director and other division staff. A bachelor’s degree in civil/ environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental studies, physical sciences or comparable area of study required. EIT is preferred. Experience with engineering design and project management is required and program administration, especially in the municipal water treatment industry is preferred. Salary range: $40.1728 (min) to $44.6699 (max) per hour; 40 hours per week.
