The town of Upton seeks to fill the full-time position of Social Services Coordinator, responsible for performing administrative, technical, and professional work planning, coordinating, and implementing social services for residents and their families. Provides advocacy and support to citizens, their families, and caregivers. Implements outreach programs, including case management, fuel assistance, food stamps, counseling to Medicare beneficiaries, and general information.

Requires bachelor’s degree in the social/human service field and three to five years of experience working in a social service or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and work experience. Certification in SHINE counseling is preferred.

Salary range:  $22.76- $25.08 hour plus benefits, DOE.
