Chatham is seeking a dedicated, driven and knowledgeable candidate to become Shellfish Propagation Specialist/Assistant Shellfish Constable! Chatham’s propagation program supports one of the most prolific and valuable quahog fisheries in the state. Position is responsible for operation/management of the shellfish propagation program.
Position is 40 hours/week, subject to tide schedule, may include on call/overtime responsibilities. Work takes place in both an office setting and outdoors in all weather. Likely to perform expanded/extended duties in emergency conditions. Starting biweekly salary is $2,533.60-$2,658.40 ($65,789.60-$69,118.40 annually) with 3% cost of living salary increase on July 1.
