The town of Natick is seeking an energetic individual to join the Department of Community and Economic Development team as its Senior Planner. The Senior Planner will be responsible for the town’s economic development planning efforts and will play a major role in providing assistance to the Planning Board. The Ideal candidate will be required to direct neighborhood and strategic planning initiatives, preparing grant applications, collaborating on construction projects, transportation initiatives, as well as other projects as assigned. The Senior Planner should also be skilled in community and land use planning (short and long-term), housing, or transportation.
A bachelor’s degree in planning, business, public administration, engineering, or related field, and five years of experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job. A master’s degree in planning, public administration, project management, business, or related field preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
The starting salary will range from $72,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time exempt position. Natick offers excellent employee benefits.
