SENIOR HR GENERALIST

The city of Worcester seeks candidates for the position of Senior HR Generalist to provide advanced administrative support for Human Resources programs and functions. Some responsibilities include working directly with hiring managers and department heads to compose job descriptions, ads, and advertise city vacancies across various platforms; assist in the implementation of diversity initiatives; and support the implementation of the Exit Policy to ensure proper separation of departing city employees.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience in personnel and/or HR functions; OR, an equivalent combination of education & experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the required duties of the position will be considered in lieu of the above mentioned requirements. Experience developing job descriptions, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

SALARY RANGE: $63,657 – $83,402 annually, full-time, exempt, with an excellent benefits package.
