We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer to manage the design and construction of public works capital improvement projects, with a focus on managing large private development projects and their impacts on the public right of way. The Senior Engineer will have a high degree of independent responsibility in managing private development construction projects in the areas of sewer separation, utility improvements, stormwater management, and street reconstruction. Bachelor’s of science in civil engineering or related field. Minimum of five to eight years’ relevant experience, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility.

Management of large scale (over $20 million) utility projects including deep excavation (20 feet or more), support of excavation designs, effective vibration monitoring, protecting existing utilities during construction, and coordination of significant utility work in a dense urban environment. Ability to effectively coordinate construction activities with city departments, the community, and multiple contractors in a dense urban environment. $107,466 – $118,529, annually plus excellent benefits.
