The town of Wayland seeks qualified candidates for the Senior Administrative Coordinator position in the Assessor’s Office. Responsibilities include daily administration of office in accordance with state/local statutes and regulations. Performs a variety of skilled duties including, but not limited to, responding to customer service requests, consulting with taxpayers in applying for tax abatements/exemptions, assisting the public in locating properties on Assessors’ maps, and related bookkeeping duties, accounting, tracking correspondence, deeds, and forms. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or HS diploma with three years’ assessor’s experience, and a valid Class D driver’s license.
