The town of Orleans is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Recreation Program Manager – Cultural and Community Events.
Description:
Working under the direction of the Director of Recreation, Cultural and Community Events, this position is responsible for administrative, supervisory and instructional work related to the operation of a municipal recreational, cultural and events program, including the development, promotion, and execution of diverse community-oriented activities and initiatives.

Qualifications:
Educational Background and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in recreation or other related field preferred; three to five years progressively responsible experience including supervisory duties in recreation and/or event management setting; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
The following licenses are required for this position:
CPR and First Aid certification
Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s license
