RADIO SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN

The City of Worcester is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Radio System Technician within the WorcesterFire Department. Under the direction of the District Chief of Fire Prevention, the Radio System Technician is responsible for the management, maintenance, repair, and improvement of the City’s public emergency alarm reporting system, fire station alerting systems, fire alarm master boxes, and inspect and approve bi-directional amplifiers. This position will also provide ongoing training for Fire Prevention and Dispatch personnel on the use of receiving and reporting equipment.
FULL SALARY RANGE: $66,475 – $87,012 annually, full-time, exempt, with an excellent benefits package
