The town of Holliston is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Public Safety Telecommunicator. The Telecommunicator receives 911 emergency calls and non-emergency calls, text to 911 messages, monitors and dispatches patrol officers. Other duties include accurate logging of service calls, operating 911 equipment, assisting lobby walkins, monitoring external building cameras and related duties.

This is a full-time position, 32 – 40 hours per week. The position is Grade 200, and the starting salary range is $21.15 – $23.43 per hour, commensurate with experience. Full salary range is $21.15 – $26.59 per hour.

The successful candidate will have the ability to pass an oral interview, background investigation, CORI check, medical examination and dispatcher assessment. The successful candidate will also be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Will be required to complete APCO PST 1 Telecommunicator certification, NextGen 911 certification and CJIS certification.

Experience preferred but not required.
