The town of Truro is accepting applications for a full-time Public Safety Dispatch Telecommunicator. Responsibilities include receiving emergency and non-emergency public safety calls, dispatching personnel, providing emergency medical instructions, and other duties.
Applicants must have the ability to multitask and possess good interpersonal skills. Certifications in enhanced 911, CJIS, APCO Basic Telecommunicator, EMD-APCO, CPR/First Responder are recommended, but will train.
The current salary range is $62,223 – $81,187 annually, DOQ, excluding overtime, education incentives, holiday pay, and shift differential.
