The town of Cohasset is seeking a qualified, motivated Public Health Inspector- Registered Sanitarian to perform a variety of public health inspection and enforcement duties under the direction of the Public Health Director. This part-time position is responsible for conducting inspections, investigations, and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with state and local public health regulations. The successful candidate will exercise sound professional judgment while providing education and guidance to residents, business owners, and contractors.
Work Schedule: This is a part-time position averaging approximately 19 hours per week. The schedule is flexible based on departmental needs and inspection workload. Some evening meetings or emergency response may occasionally be required.
