The Concord Public Health division is seeking a Health Inspector to perform inspections and investigatory work pertaining to the enforcement of applicable public health and safety codes, protection of the environment; and control of disease; and other related work. Under the direction of the Public Health Director, the Health Inspector plays a key role in administering public health initiatives, Including all aspects of state sanitary codes and local Board of Health Regulations. This position works closely with staff from the Health division and other town departments for the provision of exceptional public health services, resources, and guidance to our residents and the business community.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interactions with residents, contractors, business owners, and real estate agents. Must have exceptional organizational, written and verbal skills, as well as proficiency with MS office software.
