The town of Dudley is seeking a qualified individual to serve as a Full-Time Public Health Agent. This position oversees department operations, programs, and grants; supervises staff and volunteers; enforces local, state, and federal public health regulations; conducts inspections; and serves as the technical advisor to the Board of Health.

Working under the direction of the Board of Health, the Public Health Agent plans and manages departmental objectives and budget, ensures regulatory compliance, and coordinates public health programs and emergency response efforts. The position also represents the Town in interactions with state agencies, schools, housing authorities, and community partners.

Key responsibilities include conducting inspections and investigations, preparing reports and enforcement documents, supervising public health clinics and staff, managing grants, overseeing emergency plans, drafting regulations, and responding to communicable disease and environmental health concerns.

This is a Grade 4 position, with a pay range of $33.18 to $38.31 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Competitive retirement and benefits package. Attendance at Board of Health meetings, typically held one Tuesday night per month, is required.
