Position: Temporary (up to four years)
Anticipated Hiring Range: $71,409 – $85,590
Schedule: 40 hours per week
The town of Needham is seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the temporary full-time position of Project Manager. Working with a committed team of public works professionals, the Project Manager will be involved in managing projects, primarily those associated with and funded under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Key community projects represent a wide variety of priorities, including water quality improvements at the Town Reservoir, water quality improvements at Walker Pond, feasibility of constructing a pedestrian/bicycle/electric shuttle community way between the town of Needham and the city of Newton, design and construction of an extension of the town’s existing rail trail to Chestnut St., water and sewer main design, construction of water and sewer infrastructure, and other community endeavors.
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, business management, project management, or related field.
- At least four years of relevant professional experience in construction, construction management, or a related field.
- A valid motor vehicle license.
