The Project Engineer works independently, with guidance and direction from the City Engineer and/or the Director of Public Works, to provide engineering, management and technical support to the Public Works Department for the city’s capital improvement projects. The qualified candidate has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field with minimum three years’ experience in municipal engineering design, project management and construction inspection, roadway and utility (water, sewer, drainage) design and construction, or public works construction.
