The Westwood Police Department is currently seeking qualified transfer candidates for the full-time position of Police Officer. The Westwood Police Department is a progressive, non-civil service law enforcement agency that works closely with our public safety colleagues and all stakeholders in our community. The town of Westwood is a growing community with more than 1.5 million sq. ft. of retail shopping, office space, and residential development with a resident population of approximately 16,000 people. Westwood is an extremely safe and engaged community, supportive of public safety, located in the metropolitan Boston area.

FT position, annual base salary range of $53,139 – $73,578 along with a competitive benefits package to include an educational incentive stipend up to $12,500. Significant opportunity for overtime and additional income from extra duty work. Average total compensation for patrol officers in 2021 was $125,000.
