The town of Andover is seeking a full-time Platform Engineer in the Information Systems (IT) Department. Under the direction of the Platform Architect, the Platform Engineer’s role is to design, build, and implement network and server systems across the enterprise. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all local and wide area network connections, corporate servers, associated software, and communication links. This person will also troubleshoot network performance issues, analyze network traffic, and monitor/mitigate cybersecurity incidents.
