Planning and Conservation Coordinator
The town of Hamilton is seeking a Planning and Conservation Coordinator to provide essential administrative and clerical support to the Director of Planning and the Conservation Agent. This position is responsible for managing office operations, coordinating committee activities, preparing reports and correspondence, and assisting with key town initiatives.
This role will also support the Affordable Housing Trust, Historic District Commission, and Community Preservation Committee, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations, maintaining records, and assisting with grant administration and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Planning and Conservation departments.
- Coordinate and prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and reports for various committees.
- Manage and update committee pages on the town website.
- Assist with grant applications, tracking, and reporting.
- Monitor and maintain the Affordable Housing Trust fund account.
- Support historic preservation efforts, including Certificate of Appropriateness Applications.
- Assist with Community Preservation Act (CPA) funding applications and project tracking.
