The town of Raynham is seeking qualified applicants for the benefit-eligible position of Permitting Clerk – 20 hours/week, performing skilled office and clerical work providing supportive services to the offices of the Conservation Commission, the Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Building-Planning Department. Highly organized candidates must have a familiarity with and an interest in land and environmental conservation concerns. Working knowledge of office practice and procedures; preferred skills of project management, database software use (e.g. Access, Excel), and time management.

High school diploma or GED; Associate’s degree highly preferred; two years of related customer service and office experience; experience in land-use planning, zoning, conservation a plus; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a unionized position with a starting salary of $19.11/hr.
