The town of Needham’s Public Health division seeks engaged individuals for the position of part-time Environmental Health Inspector, supporting the inspection, investigation, and evaluation of health risks and the enforcement of applicable national, state, and local environmental sanitary and health regulations and permit requirements. In addition to conducting inspections, this role will investigate foodborne illness complaints, review online permit applications, and assist with FDA voluntary inspection programs.
The part-time Environmental Health Inspector may occasionally provide training support and assistance on issues related to environmental health regulations to support public health partners.
This position is part-time, up to 10 hours per week.
Hourly Rate: $42.50
