The town of Falmouth welcomes applications for a Parks Laborer position with the Department of Public Works (DPW) Parks and Forestry Division. This is a full-time, year-round, benefited position that works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with substantial overtime opportunities. Overtime worked between the hours of midnight and 7 a.m. is compensated at double-time.

This position plays an important role in ensuring that these community spaces remain safe, clean, and welcoming for residents and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, forestry, and/or public works construction and maintenance activities; or any equivalent combination of education, training, or experience that demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
Required Licenses:
- Massachusetts Class C Passenger Motor Vehicle Operator’s License; and
- OSHA-10 Certification (or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire)
Anticipated Starting Hourly Rate: Step 1 ($23.14/hour) – Step 3 ($25.03/hour), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
