The  city of Franklin, NH  (pop. 8,600) seeks a dynamic, resourceful, and experienced Municipal Services Director. The current incumbent is retiring after 18 years of service to the city. This is a full-time, department head position, working under the City Manager, responsible for supervising, directing, and managing all administrative and technical aspects of the city’s Municipal Services department which include seven divisions: administration, highways, solid waste, mechanical garage, buildings & grounds, water and sewer. Successful candidates will possess in-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of the Municipal Services divisions with special focus on the operation of municipal water, waste water and solid waste divisions maintaining compliance with state and federal permit requirements.
