The city of Melrose seeks a skilled Mechanic/Welder to maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, welding and fabricating parts, performing routine maintenance, and responding to emergency breakdowns. Ideal candidates are graduates of an automotive trade school (or have five-plus years of experience), and possess strong mechanical skills.
